Been a Busy Few Months

Another trip to Avila Barn, just the two of us. Picked berries, had ice cream and fed the animals.

Painted a unicorn for Madison at her request at the Painted Cabernet. So sweet how much she loved it.
A nice trip to the SB Zoo. A fun trip to the beach with lots of hole digging.

Another Avila Barn trip with all of us. This time we got a pony ride. This horse's name is Peanut.

Had a lot of fun feeding the animals. She is getting very brave. Then we went out to Cousin Mike's for a surprise party for Denise and she led us all in "happy Birthday to you".

A trip to Santa Barbara's Chase Palm Park for carousel rides, playing in the park, art walk by the beach and a trip to the Sea Center to touch the sea stars.

She came to work with me on Thursday and was a super good kid! She played all day and even let me get all my work done. So sweet to be working away at my desk while I hear her play next to me. What an amazing kid. Then we checked out the Quick Draw in Los Olivos. I think the horse sculpture was her favorite.

Madison had a great day at the beach with dad, grandpa and me. It was her friend London's Birthday.

Beach season is here!

Madison had her first dance class and resitle in June. She was adorable! She is such a good listener and so well behaved. She cannot wait to start up again in September.
Her good friend Mattei turned 4 and had a super sweet princess party. What fun!

This was her pose. So cute!!

She really enjoyed watching the video later at Taco Roco with her Dad. I think she was pretty proud of herself. I know I am proud of her. Here is a photo she took at the Butterflies Alive exhibit at SBNHM. It was a real nice day out with the girls!
She got a little sad when she could not get one to land on her finger. Awe!
Swim class went well but we think she needs to take the Pike class again. She loves the pool and loves to swim, but has a hard time closing her mouth and putting her face in the water. We hope it will get easier for her.
She started Summer pre school and she is loving it!! I did not get any good photos (what was I thinking?? I do not know). This was her breakfast.
She was so excited to see the 4th of July parade. Parades are one of her favorite things. She did not really want to see the fireworks, but we could hear them going off as he were trying to go to bed,so we got up and watched them from the 2nd story balcony with some neighbors. It was just right.

Grandma is out of town in France! So I am taking time off work wherever I can and I am getting a lot of  Mom and Daughter time. It has been very nice, although I am tired. She is such an amazing and smart kid! I am so lucky to have her in my life!!

Meeting the Mermaid!

Another jam packed weekend! We went to the Solvang Elementary School's carnival and found that there was pony rides yay!! we went 2x and we painted a rock too. Not too hot, it was just right. Then on Sunday we headed down to SB with Daddy and her new mermaid tail we made so we could meet up with Tea in Tiaras at Peanut Maternity. They had a mermaid and pirate entertaining kids and there was free face paint! It was a blast!

Maria Perez is so awesome! I love her body and face paint work!  All the kids running around looked exquisite! Madison wanted a unicorn (first time she did not ask for a butterfly). She loved it.

I love Madison so much!! She is amzing!

Here was May!

My favorite work partner arrived at work to cheer up the office and run up and down the hallways (she did that today too), Horsin' around at the Vaccaro parade in solvang, and playing a little dress up at the house. I remember when that Snow White dress dragged on the ground. She is so adorable!!
Feeding some fish at the zoo with Dad. We finally saw the African Black Footed cat at the zoo! We have tried to see him for years!
Sad to think that Madison will soon leave Tecolote Day Care, but we are very excited about pre-school starting June 19th!

Hoping to Catch up ...Here is more April

More from our first carousel ride.

Here is my little fairy princess riding Stardust at the Apple Blossom Festival and her all dressed up for my party. She is still sporting some face paint from the festival. She made up my very own Birthday song and dance! She really made my day special (and Grandma too with the fabulous cake and a little me time)
I so loved the cake and all it's decorations, not to forget the beautiful flowers! Madison came to Tesha's class to add some artwork of her own to my newest journal. What a great month!
