Played in the "snow" at the Snowleopard Festival at the Zoo.

Hung out with Daddy.

Made a bunch of Christmas crafts.

Hung out with Mommy.

Decorated the tree.

Saw Santa at Tecolote and got a dolly.

Played in the leaf pile with everybody for Christmas Eve.

Opened gifts of Christmas Eve.

Gave Daddy some love.

Early Thankgiving at the Beach

Super great fun day at the beach for our anual early Thanksgiving with the McNutts. We all so look forward too it, especially Madison. She had a total blast! She woke up the next day, still a bit tired from all the fun.

Her favorite part, besides the beach, is seeing all her cousins! So many kids!! I wish we all had more time to get together all the time!

Having some fall harvest fun at Avila Barn. Madison was feeling a little sick, but she had some fun.

She loves having time with Dad.

A trip to the SB Zoo is always fun.

Took a quick trip to the Fairyfest in Solvang and got a new wand and some facepaint.

Our first Boo at the Zoo. What a fun night, but I think baby was a bit tired. At least she was tired until the sugar high kicked in. Still so busy this month. Madison is so excited for Halloween to come. "I am hungry for candy" she says.

Long Day!

Fun day but we are all wiped out.

So happy jumping all over Daddy.

Favorite things at the zoo: feeding fish and saying hi to the penguins.

One of Madison's favorite butterflies is the Monarch. She has been asking about going back to see these beauties for a week or so, so we had to get there before they close the exhibit for the year.

It was another wonderful day with our beautiful and smart darling baby girl! I wish I had the energy to keep up. It was a bit much for this overworked girl, but I'd do it again for sure!

Hot day in Ballard, so many memories and a happy girl with a stick (yes she hit me with it, but not hard hehe)

It was Madison's friend Mattei's royal Birthday last Saturday. She was so cute in her new Rapunzel dress and so sweet with all her hugs and thank yous! It was a very nice party. Madison really had fun. She even sang Happy Birthday!

I just love this picture from when we first had the chicks in their new home. Her little owie, boots and dress are so sweet behind the tiny chicks leaning on each other.

And this picture of Madison hugging her little cat stuffed animals has really captured her pure cuteness.

Here she was at Easter, with her sweet yellow dress, and hat that is a little small. She had so much fun running around finding eggs!

Today we went to the SB Zoo and she fed the giraffe, rode the train, fed the fish, saw (and almost touched) the new dinosaur, and ran all up and down the paths.

We went there to see the barn, but it was closed so we tried the town. It was a nice sunny warm day! We played at the kids park, pet fish and sharks at the Avila Marine Center, had a sidewalk picnic with ice-cream, played at the beach, fell in the water, got the sand out and ran back into the ocean for a while. What a fun day for her! And daddy and mommy (who had a cold)

First Kite Adenture

Madison had such a nice day! the weather was beautiful! Almost too good for winter and way too good for kite flying. There was just enough of an occasional breeze to get that kite up here and there. She loved it and so did I.

Birthday Party Fun

Madison went to her first kid party Birthday party for her school mate Robert who was turning 3. She was pretty shy most of the party and was a bit too scared to go into the bouncy house or the huge bouncy slide.

It was the cutest little party! it was a fireman theme and they had a bunch of projects, toys, and games. The highlight was when a real firetruck and a bunch of nice firemen came. Maddie did not want to play around the truck like the other kids, but lit up and got very enthusiastic when they announced the fire-hose squirting part.

Towards the end of the party she was playing in the fountain with her friends and having a good time. Here she us with a firetruck water cup thing they gave out. Such a nice party and such nice people! It was a real good day.

Hipstomatic Pics of Baby

Hanging out the other night with Madison and decided to try a new lens on the hipstomatic.

Baby is getting taller I think cause it about killed me to carry her while pushing her stroller about 3 blocks.

Cutie at the Studio

Went to the Art Clinic the other day and, where I got nothing done, Madison was super busy.

She was building boats and caves and cars and hiding places.

Making castles with clay and pancakes and all sorts of goodies. Grandma joined us and she too got caught up in the getting nothing done world our sweet Maddie had created.

It was very nice to get out of the apartment for a bit and I really enjoyed watching her imagination just go to town. She was so good and sweet. I look forward to our next trip to the Art Clinic.

First Plane Ride

Waiting went fine. Getting there was smooth. She cried a little when they took her shoes.

It too a bit of a talk to get the seat belt on. We took off and she was like WOw! Gaining altitude she hank in her seat and shook a little. It is quite an odd experience.

Then, before we even got to the seatbelt off sign, she passed out. We have not descended yet. That is next. Crossing fingers!

New I Pod Touch for Baby

Daddy bought Madison a new I Pod touch since she won't leave ours alone. She is really good at using it and they make so many good learning games for kids her age.

She often asks for it as soon as she wakes up. I think she is finally getting over it enough to make it easier to turn off and put down without a fuss.

Queen of Arts Day 2

Maddie and me took a walk around town on our way to the Queen of Arts. She brought Monkey in her stroller. We got "baby juice and mommy coffee" to bring with us.

She could not wait to get back to the "tent". She had some fun with her clay.

A girl came over and made her a little crown which she decorated while it was still on her head. Pretty cool trick hehe.

Small Glimpse of Halloween

This was the 3rd Halloween for Madison but the 1st one where she kinda understood what was going on.

Another Trip to Aliva Barn

This time it was grandma papa me and Madison. We went on a mission to get pumpkins and feed some poor starving goats (yeah right)

She was so sweet and cute. It was fun to finally get the grandparents to come out. Papa and Madison picked out some real winner pumpkins

Then we decided to drive all the way to Ventura to go to the Disney store at the mall there.

It was a really beautiful party. Lots of color and everyone was so well costumed for the Alice theme.

Maddie has bad teeth and we have been struggling to keep them from melting/chipping away.
Last Saturday she had surgery to get them fixed. She had to be sedated for the surgery and have nothing to eat or drink for 8 hrs before. She was so patient and good!

Maddie had such a good Easter. She really had agreat time. She got so excited when she saw the eggs on the lawn. She ran around back and forth grabbing one egg at a time at first...

The Daddy got a little impatient (we put out like 3 dozen LOL) and loaded her up in the wagon and took her around to get the last dozen or so. She then wanted all of us to take turns taking her around. She was so cute!

Birthdays

Joe's Birthday was first. We all went to the zoo then took a nice nap then all went out to dinner at Mattie's Tavern. It was a real nice day!!

Wednesday Trip to the Zoo

Maddie and me went to the the zoo and rented a stroller there for the first time. She loved that it was like a little car. The cup holder is a must.

Auntie LE Vist YAY

Maddie was real excited about a visit from auntie LE! Everytime we got in the car she'd ask for her, as if to say "we're going to see LE right?" and I'd say "yeah we are going to see LE" and then she would yell out "YAY!! LE!!!". Man it was so cute!

Her and Auntie had a bunch of fun in the Sunny Fields Park on Friday. They even got to ride the "horsies" together.

All us girls went out to breakfast at the pankake house. Such a great picture of the two of them. Maddie I am sure will miss her Aunt LE. The studio won't be the same without her.

Madison lined them all up very carefully, making sure they were facing foreword, then she sat herself and Tiggie next to them.

Another Mis-Posted Post

Her Madison is at the Corner Coffee Shop killing time before we head to the Thanksgiving party at her Daycare/school. She had so much fun in this chair. We killed at least 30 min no problem. The Thanksgiving thing was real nice. All the kids sat together to sing for the parents. Maddie was a bit nervous that I would leave her there soo she sat in my lap. All the kids sang and did hand movements to Turkey Day songs. There was one of the last ones that Madison must have liked best cause she got pretty excited and sang a bit and did a stearing wheel movement. It was so precious that I teared up a bit. Too bad I was holding her and could not get any shots of it.

Snow Lepard Festival at the ZOO

Grandma, Madison and me all went to the zoo to see the snow. Here we are at the penguins looking at the new baby penguin.
Some of the enclosures had a snowy suprise for the animal. Here the elephants got a huge pile of snow to mess with.

Maddie got to ride the train. Tiggie came too (her new best buddy).

Rain Drops

Madison's first rainy rain puddle day. I opened the door to our appartment and she just stood in the doorway trying to figure out what to make of all the wet out side. I urged Maddie out and she immediately found a puddle and jumped in it!
As you can see...I was a bit late getting her to Grandma's.

Then, on Saturday, I got her boots on and went out in the rain in search of some major puddle fun. It took her a while to get used to the boots...they are way too big. We had a bunch of fun! By the time we were walking home, she was realy gettibg into it.

It made for a real nice baby and mommy day!!

I love the idea that maybe someday I can paint with Maddie in the studio and she'll have her little painting going too....and as she gets older she might even want to help me out.

She loved the painted paper on the ground best.

She is so smart the way she was imitating me and even following the brush stroak I had already laid down. So fun!

Such a little cutie! Here she is trying out the bike stands at the Bulldog Cafe.

She tries to pull the stickers off this one. It is so special cause it is her little messy handprint that made this turkey. She points to the cat sticker and says "kitty".

She points to the turkeys and says "turkey", she points to the leaves and says "leaf" and when you ask her where the feather is she points to the puple feather. Such a smartie!!

This was one of her Halloween pictures she made with spounge shapes.

This is an ealier picture. I just love the colors.

She likes this one. Madison points and mimics the brush stroaks I think.

Maddie and her Dad have an impromptu Halloween tea party.

We had a wonderful Halloween in Ballard. It was a pirate theme at Grandma's this year. Grandpa made hotdogs for all the trick or treaters. We ran out of candy a tad early, but the hot dogs held out a bit longer. Madison was having a blast the whole time. She liked to greet everyone and say "bye bye and c'ya" It was so fun and cute.

Baby's First Road Trip

My Mom, Dad, Baby and me went to Los Gatos for a couple days. Me and Mom took an art class and Dad hung out with Maddie. It went pretty well! Baby had one breakdown in the car each way, which is really good considering that she did not nap much.

Easter

Baby's first Easter basket. She enjoyed all of it, pulling he fun gifts out, one by one.

These ears did not stay on long, but they are super cute!

She liked playing outside in the grass. She even "found" some eggs and put them in her basket. It was a very fun and easy day.

She was not too into eating her cake, but she sure loves the happy birthday song. It was a real fun day! we went to the zoo, back home, went for a walk to try out the solvang clog, and then home again for cake. She had so much fun she did not want to miss anything by taking a nap. HEHE she only took 2 very short naps the whole day. Silly girl. I guess, now that she's all "grown up" she does not need naps.

Wow! Born on the same day just hours appart. Cousins, meeting for the first time. It was like they already knew eachother. I was told they loked eyes from accross the room.

There is my little mouse: Madison and Grandpop at the show. She was quite the spectacle of cuteness. She got to meet a bunch of her McNutt cousins. She was mesmerized and thrilled when she saw her cousin Gregory for the first time. We got pics on my Mom's camera that I will post soon. It was quite a sight!

It was great to see Anna. Madison has changed a lot since her last visit. Kim was able to make it too to lay some hugs and kisses on baby. It was a real nice weekend. Maddie rekindled some friendships and made a bunch of new ones. Funny to think it was just last year that I was at this show, pregnant with baby. That was the first of my swelling too hehe.

Madison was a baby bat for Halloween just like the toy LE made for me for Halloween last year: and momma and baby bat. She looked way cute but, me..... not so much. LOL

Here are her bat wings my mom sewed on a cat onsie for us. Madison's Grandpop escorted us around the block to show off hehe. I was going to wait until I could get Mom's camera to post this, she got better pics.

And I could not leave out the bootie! Had to put a heart on the rear of all the onsies.

She is a great model for these....she looks good in everything!!!

The weather finally got cool enough (almost too cool) to hang out at the park. She looked so tough in her little hoodie. This is the same hoodie I mentioned months ago. It is the 1st "its a girl" outfit.
